---MULTIPLE ROLES---

Government Agency seeking multiple Java Specialist for non-ongoing Canberra roles.

Duties include but not limited to: 

• Develop code to ABS standard
• Undertake a combination of feature delivery, improvements and bug fixes
• Contribute to the evolving system architecture and design

Essential: 

• minimum 3+ years in Java Developer / Java Web UI Developer role 
• experience using J2EE web services or experience delivering J2EE web services using Spring and Hibernate 
• development experience in an agile environment
• design, codes, tests, corrects and documents large and/or complex programs and program from supplied specifications using agreed standards and tools to achieve a well engineered result
• system/solution design abilities
• tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent

 

The roles available are non-ongoing. You will have access to annual and personal leave, Public Service flex time benefits as well as 15.4% superannuation on top of base salary between $62,000 to $79,000 per annum.
