We are seeking an IT Server / Storage Support Engineer to join our team in Sydney.
This opportunity would suit a diverse IT Server / Storage Support Engineer with a solid understanding of NAS / SAN / Server products. The role will offer you technical depth and versatility. We will require you to be able to lead the customer's management and technical staff on all topics relating to Storage / Server support.
  
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and resolve live product technical issues; Be able to independently troubleshoot network problems.Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Plan, Design, and delivery IT/ Storage solutions that meet customer requirements;
• Provide maintenance support for customer IT/Storage environments. Build and foster strong relationships with customer
• Effectively communicate with customers and be able to provide direct hands-on technical knowledge transfer.  

Essential skills required are:

• 3+ years commercial experience in IT Server/Storage Support and dealing with 1st and 2nd level issues
• Technical knowledge of mainstream IT infrastructure, include x86 servers, storage and networks
• Knowledge of mainstream virtualization, backup and operating systems, such as vmware, linux, etc.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal 
• Manage and resolve complex product technical issues and risks of a product
• Design and implement complex product technical solutions 
• Ability to independently troubleshoot network issues 
• Ensure that network maintenance KPIs, such as problem handling duration and accident recovery duration, meet the SLA requirements, and network operation is stable. 
• Solid background of Server/Storage principles, implementation would be a plus.
