We are currently seeking highly experienced Probity Services Adviser for our client to work on a major project. 

Australian Citizenship mandatory (Baseline Security Clearance preferred)

Service of Work:
  • Provide advice in relation to probity matters to ensure the ATM is conducted in accordance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs), relevant ANAO recommendations/best practices, and relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Advise on actual or perceived conflicts of interest that might arise during the ATM process and assist in the management of these matters.
  • Attend forums, industry briefs and other meetings as required.
  • Maintain a schedule/log of any issues raised by third parties.
  • Assist the Department to maintain an ‘even playing field’ by ensuring that respondents are treated equitably throughout the ATM
  • Familiarise yourself with Department's standard probity Plan, which has been tailored for this procurement project.
  • Advise on any conflicts of interest, as requested by the Project Manager.
  • Endorse the Tender Evaluation Plan (TEP).
  • Review RFT documentation for consistency with the TEP, and provide probity sign off on the consistency of the RFT documentation and TEP.
  • Provide a probity briefing to the Tender Evaluation Team, at the evaluation kick-off meeting.
  • Review any decision to exclude a tenderer in the Stage 1 – Initial Screening for Compliance process, for consistency with the RFT.
  • Review any decision to Set Aside a tenderer in the Stage 2 – Detailed Evaluation process, for consistency with the RFT and TEP.
  • Review and provide probity sign off on the Tender Evaluation Report, from a probity perspective.
  • Provide probity sign-off on the overall procurement process.
  • During the tender process, review and assist with the drafting of addenda and clarification requests.
  • Attend forums, industry briefs and other meetings as requested to advise on, or to present on probity matters.
  • Advise on probity aspects of communication to industry, agencies, stakeholders and the media.
  • The review of letters to unsuccessful tenderers.
  • Advice on the content of tenderer de-brief material.
