The Role

Gemini Accident Repair Centres have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Manager to join our team at our Support Centre based in Burleigh. 

Reporting directly to the IT Director, this opportunity will be primarily focused on the following key areas of responsibility:

  • IT Infrastructure and applications support
  • IT business solutions, strategy and management, including management of IT related projects
  • IT governance and compliance

The position is accountable for managing and supporting the day to day activities of the IT team and will be a champion for IT-related business efficiencies. This position is also responsible for maintaining a secure information technology network to actively support the functions of the group, and support the broader business strategies in the future.

 

 Education / Qualifications / Experience

  • Formal tertiary qualifications in Information Technology and several years IT management experience in a complex environment.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including core competences of consulting and advising management on a wide range of IT issues.
  • Mid to senior IT management experience is required, with associated knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure technology (servers, desktop, storage, networks, operating systems, platforms, configurations and telecommunications).
  • A comprehensive knowledge of current and emerging industry trends in IT.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to formulate, implement and maintain IT Policies and standard operating procedures.
