We are seeking a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer to join our Engineering team, who would thrive in a company with a strong engineering-focused environment.

This role would suit an engineer with a strong background in Availability Engineering, Performance Engineering, At-scale Distributed Systems Design & Engineering, Production Support, Infrastructure Automation and Tool Development.

Duties:
• Assist with building out new technology and maintaining production systems
• Manage Kafka platform which runs within Kubernetes
• Manage our fully cloud hosted AWS infrastructure
• Build out CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Groovy
• Administer & Engineer Linux Operating Systems
• Monitoring with Brokers, Zookeeper, Kafka Connect, REST Proxy
• Clustering, Networking, Disaster Recovery, Hot components failover
• Program/script using Java 8, Scala, NodeJS, Elixir/Erlang, C++, Python, GoLang
  
Advantageous skillset:
• Passion for Technology and hunger to learn
• Experience ensuring the resiliency of high-scale cloud-native applications
• Distributed Systems Architecture
• Big Data engineering
• NetDevOps Experience (Network Infrastructure Automation)
