Bluefin Resources are working with a prestigious federal government enterprise to recruit a SQL Developer.
You will work with:
- Scheme Actuary
- Sustainability team - Actuarial and reporting
- Regional performance analysts
Responsibilities:
- Understand, analyse and size user requirements;
- Development and maintenance of SQL analytical and ETL code;
- Adherence to agreed standards and good practices;
- Optimisation and tuning of SQL code to ensure optimal performance;
- Development and maintenance of system documentation;
- Work within a state of the art, greenfields dev ops environment;
- Collaboration with data consumers, database development, testers and IT support teams;
Skills & Experience
- Expertise in SQL
- Knowledge of metadata/model driven frameworks
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience reverse engineering end user SQL code
Nice-to-have skills and experience
- Experience working with a SQL database like Teradata
- Knowledge of Teradata’s UDI and GCFR
- Experience with Dev Ops and Data Warehousing
On Offer - This is an initial 11 month contract with the high chance of ongoing extensions based in Surrey Hills.
