Your Mission…
As the QA Capability Lead at Sportsbet, you will be responsible for leading & coaching the QA practice within technology.
You will be tasked with building an internal delivery capability aswell as identifying the need for specialist resources. Providing thought leadership to mature the QA capability across projects and delivery teams will be key to this role.
As a leader in the delivery space at Sportsbet, you will help evolve Sportsbet’s delivery practices with a focus on making sure that the highest level of quality is delivered to our customers.
That will mean doing stuff like….
- Champion Sportsbet’s evolving ways of working, bringing Agile practises and DevOps to life in projects, focusing on delivering value early.
- Collaborate with other Capability Leads on defining the delivery standards – Definition of Done etc.
- Provide thought leadership to the QA members across wide range of projects and delivery teams
- Embrace a test & learn mindset and encourage the team to ship high quality to customers early and often.
- Ensuring agreed quality standards are met, managed & maintained throughout technology.
- Generating ideas, and implementing these, to uplift quality, efficiency and effectiveness across the teams
- Define testing strategies to ensure products released meet customer and company standards
- Evaluate workflow throughout the life of large projects to identify areas where improvement can be made
- Collaborate with the delivery managers to verify that the right quality practices are followed with the feature teams
- Define and track analytics outcomes for delivery.
- Assure the requirement & acceptance test output to a quality that validates our assumptions.
Ideally, we are looking for someone will the following experience & attributes…
- Master of multiple delivery practices, with a strong understanding & preference for Agile (e.g. Scrum & Kanban).
- Previous experience leading & coaching QA or delivery teams.
- Solid experience across software delivery & automation.
- A passion for embedding quality in delivery & Agile practices.
- Values & supports other’s expertise, efforts and ideas.
- Strives for excellence in all work.
- Constantly thinking about what difference can be made for the customer.
- Questions the status quo & looks at things in new ways validating assumptions.
- Ability to quickly build rapport with a broad range of stakeholder & peers.
- Highly analytical with a creative problem-solving approach.
