Our IT Department anchors the Bank's strategic responsibilities, and is the core provider of technology facilities, services and support to the organisation.

As part of the IT Service Desk team you will be responsible for providing high quality, professional, customer focused, 2nd/3rd level technical support. You will work to resolve workplace technology related escalations from the Service Desk while performing analysis on call tickets to identify trends and implement fixes for underlying problems.

You will also be required to support and maintain Technology services across Desktop, Standard Operating Environments (SOE), Application Packaging, Citrix, Unified Communications (Email, AV, Messaging), Cloud and Mobile systems. This role will also supervise mentor Workplace technologies Support Analyst.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking problem diagnoses, resolution and escalated support
  • Assisting other IT Support teams including network, server and operations work
  • Enable provisioning, upgrading, capacity planning and performance testing of end user infrastructure.
  • Developing processes and automation with a goal of increasing efficiency and ITIL maturity
  • Assisting with the collection of, reporting and interpretation of performance monitoring data, and related activities such as capacity planning

To be considered for the role you will have:

  • A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Unified Messaging, Windows 7, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory and group policy environments and technologies.
  • Industry accreditations (ITIL, Microsoft, Citrix) that have been maintained to current levels.
  • A strong understanding of client facing devices (desktop and laptop etc.) and knowledge of servr applications and desktop applications infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager, Windows 10, SOE design - Mobile Device Management (AirWatch).
  • Strong experience in writing policies and procedures and other support documentation Demonstrate experience in the planning, implementation, management, configuration and maintenance of Microsoft Desktop infrastructure
  •  Must have a history of completing task with minimal supervision
