We are currently looking for a Business Analyst for a 6 month contract working with Brisbane City Council in Brisbane CBD. This will suit a business analyst with a strong understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) solutions.

The Project:
The 2013 SAP implementation enabled an ERP platform and procurement processes which were deemed adequate at the time of deciding to implement SAP. Current systems are no longer considered fully fit for purpose due to evolving needs and expectations around standard procurement practices.​

A Business Analyst is required to perform the analysis activities associated with the business requirement and process mapping. You will be responsible for:

• Attending and facilitating workshops with internal stakeholders.
• Analysing the requirements to confirm the scope.
• Document the business requirements as per the Council standards.
• Assist in facilitating the assessment of the requirements against products.

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in business analysis and application design.
• Ability to identify the tasks and the activities needed to meet the customer requirements and to set the goals and the priorities, in line with the business objectives.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Strong written, verbal and technical documentation skills.
• Broad experience in business analysis and design, within the Local Government environment.
• Ability to work autonomously and to work with other Project staff, in a collaborative manner.
