The Head of Enterprise Data Office will be responsible for providing leadership and governance of the data management activities across the Bank. The role will seek to harness existing capabilities and leverage their external experience and knowledge of best practice to further develop existing strategies, policies and practices to ensure the effective and efficient management of the RBA’s data assets across the data management lifecycle.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have deep data management expertise obtained either through holding a similar role in a large data driven organisation or consulting to such organisations. You will need to be both strong in strategy and in execution, have exceptional leadership qualities, and possess solid communication and influencing skills at the senior management and executive levels. Relevant academic qualifications are required and experience with the analytical needs and tools used in similar organisations with highly quantitative analytical staff eg financial services, economic policy, physical sciences, will be highly regarded.
