Job Description
This newly created role working within the CTO group at Leidos, you will have the ability to champion innovative solutions with creativity by taking the customer and internal teams to a new future state. You will lead discussions with key customers and present solutions in a pragmatic manner to solve their immediate challenges but more importantly, to shape their long term strategy. Key to this role is your ability to bring vision to life and to bring both customers and internal technical teams along on the journey.
A typical day could include:
- Building strong internal and external awareness, presentations and white papers of the hybrid cloud platform to our customers’ users.
- Developing long term IT strategies and plans in partnership with our customer architecture and CTO group.
- Translating market-leading insight and innovation to be adopted as platform capabilities for our customer.
- Providing architecture direction and advice to Major Program and Project teams.
- Developing internal short, medium and long term strategies to enable the operation teams to obtain cost savings across people, process and technology.
- Supporting operational teams with advice and architecture direction to recover from service failures that require architecture support.
- Participating in the pre-sales activities including to augment and support the business in all aspects of Solutions Architecture.
Qualifications
A cloud specialist in Enterprise Architecture, you have a proven track record of delivering long term cloud transformation for your customers, with proven commercial and operational results. You have held Enterprise level positions, engaging with Executive customers as a leader, as a peer influencer and subject matter expert in a number of key technology domains. You have developed solutions in operating model transformation, organizational transformation, technology roadmaps, infrastructure capabilities and desktop services.
The following experience would be highly desirable:
- Experience working with multi-site delivery of application and infrastructure services (e.g., Cloud, data centre).
- Experience working with an IT/business consulting organisation (Financial Services experience highly valued).
- Ability to demonstrate strong examples of ownership, delivery focus and responsibility.
- University education in a relevant discipline (business and/or IT).
