Hudson has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst. We are looking to hear from Business Analysts who have around 4 years’ experience working with large scale ICT projects and possess relevant qualifications. The Business Analyst will be required to will be required to review and analyze the organisations' business intentions, services, processes and information needs to identify changes that lead to business improvements.
The role is with one of Hudson’s Government Clients on a 6 month non-ongoing contract with possible extension starting immediately. Applicants must be Australian citizens.
To be successful for this role you will:
- The Business Analyst is to be highly accomplished in applying appropriate techniques, resources and modern tools to complex analysis activities.
- Show proven experience understanding the functions and role of a Business Analyst, including a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst.
- Demonstrated knowledge in applying Agile practices, such as scrum and Kanban, in a pragmatic manner in a government setting.
- Highly refined communication skills - written and oral
- Ability to act as an interface between the business and technical resources.
- Ability to extract and document detailed business requirements.
- Ability to work as part of a dynamic team and influencing stakeholders in an ambiguous environment.
- Experience in the use of tools such as Jira, Jira Portfolio and Sparx EA
Relevant qualifications and demonstrated experience with government departments will be highly regarded.
