PM-Partners is looking for a Senior Project Manager to implement processes, frameworks and governance, to drive consistency in patch management (upgrades/ patches to software and applications). Experience in patch management is not required, however we are looking for someone who has strong background in service management or process and governance .
This is an initial 6 month contract based in Kogarah for a Tier 1 Financial Services client. The office is located in close proximity to the train station.
Your day to day will be:
- Driving overall project delivery and creating project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, project deliverables
- Budget management activities including creation and management of budget, forecasting and actuals
- Stakeholder management and leadership, maintaining effective relationships and ensuring project is aligned to business objectives
- Management of risks and issues within the customers project management tool
To be considered for this position you will have experience and strengths in the following:
- Experienced Senior Project Manager with a background in IT Projects, ideally in Banking and Finance
- Business focussed with previous experience in operations and process
- Solid knowledge and understanding of Project Management best practice methods, fundamentals and tools
- Highly developed stakeholder management and communication skills
- Excellent organisation and time management
