- Lead Architect Position
- Permanent full-time position
Primary Accountability
Leading domain architecture team and providing pre-sales skills across EUC, Infrastructure, and cloud solutions for a leading NEC customer.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Act as focal point for IT Architecture discussion, decisions and pre sales engagements with a Leading NEC customer and customer IT Architects.
- Lead design and development of high quality IT solutions
- Provide Architectural governance and guidance to NEC account management and project management teams during project implementation lifecycle including scoping workshops, technical design, development and customisation within a project. This includes all stages from concept, build, testing, feedback, documentation to implementation of solution
- Work with the client to evaluate their business and technical requirements and provide input to, or lead, Statements of Work and proposals to deliver customer solutions.
- Liaise with customers during preliminary requirements phase to establish project direction
- Manage client expectations to ensure customer satisfaction
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- 15 years’ plus experience in ICT industry with a minimum of 3 years as Lead Architect in a large diversified organisation.
- Extensive Architecture experience with full Microsoft suite and end user compute stack such as Endpoint Protection.
- Architecture experience with O365 mail and messaging,
- Extensive Architecture experience, Citrix VDI, XenMobile, Netscaler and other associated end user compute services
- Architecture experience in a managed services environment utilising ITSM toolsets
- Experience in translating business requirements into technical designs and services
- Experience in assessing and discussing impact of technical solution decisions to other areas such as Service Management and Commercial domains
- Demonstrated ability to understand and interact with senior level internal, vendor and customer management
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, negotiation skills, presentation skills, and the ability to influence and communicate professionally across all functional lines
- Proven ability to add positive value to consultative, multi-skilled teams consisting of Domain Architects, Sales team, and other practice Pre-Sales engineers and customers
- Proven strong customer service orientation, initiative, positive attitude and collaborative working style
- Proven ability to handle a fast paced environment and continuously re-prioritize activities
- Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring a team of domain architects and experienced technical engineers
Desirable:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Technology, Engineering or Business
- ICT qualifications in Infrastructure technologies used for end user computing
- Membership or eligibility for membership of a relevant professional body
