Our client, a national organisation within the aviation industry, is currently seeking a permanent Business & Portfolio Performance Manager who will play an integral leadership role in shaping the performance of their Information Management and Data Services Group.
In this role you will be instrumental in supporting their move from a developer of products and technologies to becoming a broker, integrator and orchestrator of information management and data services.
Supporting the Leadership team with relevant insights and recommendations to drive this transition will be the key challenge. Looking ahead in multiple time frames, continuously assessing the needs and performance of the Group together with engaging and influencing decision makers to align investments with business objectives will be critical to success in the role.
The Person
As a senior leader you will be able to demonstrate a strong background in strategy execution and service delivery and a proven track record as an agent of change in challenging environments and in fostering a confident, capable, diverse and inclusive workforce.
You will possess a broad understanding of the major functions, capabilities and challenges across typical business and technology functions. This will be evident through your previous career roles and/or major initiatives that you have been involved in. You can demonstrate how this understanding has enabled you to deliver successful outcomes.
You have applied techniques for monitoring and improving the quality of business functions or processes. This will include the maintenance of compliance with national standards, internal policies/frameworks together with ensuring adequate technology, procedures and resources are in place to drive continuous improvement.
Ideally, you will have supported organisations transition into a ‘broker, orchestrator and integrator’ operating model (or similar) and can both anticipate the challenges and leverage opportunities as they present.
Skills and Experience required;
- Professional qualifications in Finance
- Professional qualifications in Program/Project delivery
- Post-graduate qualifications in Business Management
- Program management skills with evidence of practical application
- Working knowledge of relevant tools (SAP; Project Server), industry frameworks (COBIT; ITIL) and project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2 and agile)
Experience
- You will have a record of success as a leader in a large and complex organisation. The outcomes you have delivered will highlight your strong background in strategy execution and service delivery.
