Queensland Computers is a fast growing IT Provider with head office based in Bundaberg, QLD. We are a young, active and ambitious team that delivers managed IT services to our predominately small to medium business client base. The successful applicant will be based out of our main Bundaberg branch however we have some flexibility between Hervey Bay and Maryborough also.

 

Must Haves:

  • Experience in the outsourced IT B2B and/or B2E environment
  • Familiar with RMM and PSA Systems
  • Extensive experience with Office 365 management and migration
  • High level of competency in virtualised server environment particularly in Server 2012 R2 & 2016
  • Strong understanding of DHCP, DNS & AD as well as VPN and Firewalls
  • Advanced skills in managing and troubleshooting remote desktop services and terminal server environments
  • Ability to migrate and deploy new server infrastructure including network management and configuration both on premise and in the cloud
  • Capabilities in deploying client specific solutions to sites
  • Be permanent Australia Resident with current Australian drivers license

 

Personal Attributes

  • Strong command of English
  • Ability to work unsupervised, coordinate with other team members and meet deadlines set by management and sales team
  • Ability to work in office, offsite or from home/remotely if required for on call or disaster recovery
  • Capacity to operate in high pressure environments and manage both personal and professional stresses
  • Positive attitude and team player who can juggle multiple tasks and turn problems into opportunities
  • Someone who understands that their role is working for the client, not their computer systems. If you do not thrive on client communication, this role is not for you.

 

Desirable

  • Experience with PABX phone systems
  • Understanding of multiple operating environments IOS/OSX/Windows (Linux not required)
  • MCSA Certification in relevant fields
