Our federal government client is seeking the services of a Windows Administrator for a long term engagement

Your new company
The department provides foreign, trade and development policy advice to the government. The department works closely with other government agencies to ensure that Australia’s pursuit of its global, regional and bilateral interests is coordinated effectively.

Your new role
In your new role you will work within a team to meet the on-going support requirements of the departments server platforms.

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated expertise and extensive Wintel experience (5+ years) in administering and supporting Microsoft Windows Server based enterprise environments (2008, 2012 etc.) in geographically dispersed organisations.
• High-level experience in 2nd and 3rd level technical support of Windows Server environments including active directory, group policy, account management, DNS, DFS etc.
• High developed troubleshooting capability with the ability to work independently and in small teams with limited oversight and tight timeframes.
• PowerShell scripting skills with a focus on automating Windows Server administration tasks
• Experience administering virtualized server infrastructure like VMWare and\or Nutanix.

What you'll get in return
An initial 12 month contract with 2 x 12 month extension options with lucrative contract rates.
