A leading, global IT company based in Sydney's CBD currently has an opportunity available for a bright, enthusiastic and confident IT Graduate. Specialising in delivering IT solutions for enterprise and government clients this position is an initial, 12 month graduate program however the expectation is that it will be extended.
This role will see the successful candidate working a rotating shift roster. The roster operates as follows:
- Working two days from 7am - 7pm in the organisation's CBD office.
- Working two nights from 7pm - 7am in the organisation's data centre in Ultimo.
- 4 days off.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Responding to customer enquiries.
- Triaging customer issues and performing Level 1 troubleshooting.
- Escalating customer issues as required.
- Undertaking tape backup maintenance.
- Providing shift handover reports.
To be considered for this role, you must be an exceptional communicator who enjoys working with and supporting customers. You will be an enthusiastic self starter, who is passionate about IT and keen to prove yourself in your chosen career. You may have completed a technical degree, or simply completed projects in your spare time which demonstrate your enthusiasm and passion.
In return for your hard work and determination, you will be rewarded with:
- 5 weeks of annual leave, as opposed to the usual 4.
- The opportunity to work in a specialised area of engineering after the initial 12 month program is completed. Depending your skill set and interests, this could include System Operations, Networking or Security.
- An additional bonus for exceptional performance and meeting KPIs.
