The Business Analyst will operate within the Business Systems Unit (BSU) to ensure the true business needs for BSU projects are identified to support the effective delivery of application development and support services across the Department's suite of Health, Wellbeing and Early Childhood applications.
To be successful in this role you will have:
• An understanding of user needs and a focus on business outcomes and business value
• Excellent communication skills across varying business and IT areas • Proven abiltiy to facilitate workshops, gather and collate requirements
• Strong written communication and documentation skills including Business Requirements, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Project Planning, Functional Specifications, Conceptual Designs, Business Process Mapping, Procedures, etc
• Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks in situations with competing priorities • Prior experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems
• Prior experience working in a project environment
