Our sort after client has an opportunity for an expert level Collaboration consultant to join a professional services team and provide complex troubleshooting, team member upskilling and general consulting skills for an Enterprise Customer.
The successful individual will be expected to provide top tier consulting experience with excellent communication and customer facing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as an embedded member of Customer support team to support Collaboration solution architectures from core infrastructure through to user endpoints
- Assist Service Provisioning (Moves, Adds, Changes, Deletes)
- Upskill Customer support team community on Unified Communications architecture, capabilities, support techniques (knowledge transfer, shadowing/mentoring, not training)
- Provide Plan and Design recommendations for design changes and design validations
- Participate in extended team status calls and planning meetings.
- Assist in escalation of Collaboration technical issues.
- Provide industry best practices to Customer Collaboration technology.
- Act as an escalation conduit to the Collaboration business units.
- Act as a lead engineer to work with the teams support services.
- General troubleshooting
To be successful for this role you will have the following skills:
- Intimate knowledge of Cisco Collaboration technologies, primarily Unified Communications, TelePresence, Webex solutions and endpoints.
- VOIP & Data network protocols: SIP, QoS, TCP/IP, MPLS, Virtual LAN's, VLAN trunking
- Strong Cisco and 3rd party Unified Communications products and services fundamentals
- Formal voice and video systems design knowledge. Understand how to break down large designs into sub-systems, connections between those subsystems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Cisco UC/Video solution components and endpoints
- CISCO CCIE Collaboration - Highly desirable
