About the role

As a result of continued growth, we as one of Telstra's leading Business and Enterprise Partners are now looking for a Customer Support Specialist. As part of our Service Delivery Team, the successful applicant will provide help desk service and support to our customers across our core business.  The role involves strong technical and customer focus and will require the ability to work successfully within in a team environment, whilst also being able to work unsupervised where necessary.

Job tasks and responsibilities

The major responsibilities of this role will include: 

·         Coordinate customer appointments with internal and external technicians.    

·         Work with our projects team to forecast appointment requirements.

·         Generate customer invoices.

·         Contribute to maintenance and fulfilment of records and documentation.

·         Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in relation to stock control and purchasing. 

·         Manage customer expectations by way of communicating resolutions and progress updates with high quality standards within our contract requirements and SLA's. 

·         Liaison and maintain relationships with external contractors.
 

Skills and experience

The ideal candidate will have:

·         The ability to strategically schedule multiple appointments across up to 10 diaries.

·         Demonstrated experience in a customer service role and a drive to deliver a positive customer experience.

·         Strong prioritising, multi-tasking and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills.

·         Skilled at trouble shooting, problem solving and decision making with the ability to negotiate resolutions with customers. 

·         Strong computer skills with demonstrated competence in using Microsoft Office and CRM applications.

·         High attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.

·         Prior experience in a help desk environment supporting telephony and/or
IT systems will be highly regarded.

·         Enjoy collaborating within a team environment to reach team goals.
