As a Pega Architect, you will provide advice, in collaboration with senior/lead consultants on upgrading the current platform to support multiple various projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing strategic, high level technical advice to the section and key stakeholders;
• Working collaboratively with other projects on the programme;
• Establishing relationships with key stakeholders - both technical and non-technical;
• Providing technical advice and practical help in the area of integration architecture and the application of integration principles, patterns, techniques and technologies;
• Updating existing architecture documents for the Pega platform to reflect the 'as built' state of the technology;
• Developing and/or updating solution overview documents and other relevant architecture artefacts for applications being delivered by the section, including but not limited to Goods Management and Retriever, and representing these at the Departments architecture forums through to acceptance/completion;
• Reviewing, updating and testing the platform support documentation to ensure it is fit for purpose, able to be handed over to BAU operations, and meets the intended objectives;
• Providing advice, in collaboration with senior/lead consultants on upgrading the current platform to support multiple projects developing in parallel while offering suitable development paths that are capable of supporting maintenance activities (i.e. product upgrades) without impacting development.

 
Skills:

• 5+ years' experience delivering architectural designs and solutions;
• Demonstrated experience in working on complex architectures and projects with complex integration points;
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, in particular, the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of contractor technical staff, executives and subject matter experts;
• Previous experience working with Pega.
