I.T Field Engineers - Levels 3/4, Various Locations Australia-based
My client is currently looking for full time and part time Level 3/4 I.T Field Engineers who are passionate about I.T and self-motivated, to provide remote assistance and onsite support within regional locations of Victoria (Bendigo, Echuca, Shepparton, Traralgo, Wodonga) and New South Wales (Waga Waga).
These are largely onsite customer facing roles, requiring Level qualified Engineers for long and short term projects.
The Roles
Reporting to the National Operations Manager, the roles offer a variety of work and is a great opportunity to become part of a motivated and dedicated team.
Key to the success of these roles will be your ability to lead and willingness to do whatever is required, to achieve successful outcomes.
You Will Be Responsible For, But Not Limited To:
- Providing onsite I.T support and servicing within pre-defined SLA timeframes.
- Diagnostic and fault finding, troubleshooting, repair and/or refurbishment of I.T equipment (desktops, laptops, printers, networking and I.T peripherals), as well as various software installations.
- Technical incident resolution, project work and customer support.
- Controlling and maintaining a high level of technical standards.
- Providing excellent communication (both written and oral) and customer service, with an added ability to communicate technical details to non-technical end users.
- Demonstrating a good understanding of networking principles.
Skills and Experience
- Expertise, experience and confidence in repairing ATMs and self-check out devices.
- Advanced skills in Windows Desktop O/S.
- Broad based communications and home entertainment solutions.
- Cloud solutions including MS Office 365.
- Proven Networking, Routing and Firewall expertise.
- Sound knowledge of Apple products and technologies an advantage.
- Knowledge and demonstrated expertise in servicing and supporting multi-functional laser printers.
- 3-4 years’ demonstrated experience working onsite as a Technical Support Engineer, I.T Support engineer or similar role.
- Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer or similar role.
- Advanced experience to service and support multiple types of I.T hardware and software technologies.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related fields.
- Industry I.T certifications.
- Class C, clean Driver’s License and reliable vehicle.
- A driven, professional with a strong work ethic, as well as attention to detail.
In summary, your experience has given you exceptional technical, diagnostic and trouble shooting skills, with an ability to manage various projects to totally understand customer communication and service.
