Our client is a market leading financial services organisation with an international brand. Their systems are renowned for being the best in the industry and the organisation attracts some of the top technical talent in Australia. Their tech environment is built entirely across the Microsoft stack with both physical and cloud components. They require two junior to intermediate level System & Network Engineers to bolster their growing Infra / Ops team
Role
As part of the Global IT team, you will responsible for monitoring and maintaining the computer systems (MS Windows stack) and networks of the organisation. You may also assist with the operations team but this is not your primary focus. This role is as much about understanding how information systems are used as applying technical knowledge related to computer hardware or software.
Requirements:
- Broad Experience across Microsoft Windows Server & desktop admin, Networking, Routing and Hosting (Azure)
- 2-3yrs. + Windows Infrastructure Management Experience.
- IIS, VMware, Hyper-V, AD - Active Directory and Exchange experience.
- Active Directory Domain Services, Certificate Services, Distributed File System Replication, DNS
- Hands on Networking (Cisco) experience – VPNs, Firewalls, Routers & Switches.
- Experience working with Cloud (Azure) and or SaaS (desirable)
- IT or Finance related degree / diploma.
- Australian Permanent Residency
Career Opportunity Summary:
This role would be suited for a junior to intermediate level engineer looking to develop their career in a progressive environment. Some experience in banking or finance is a bonus but this could easily be a foot in the door for someone wanting to break into the financial services industry.
