We are growing, and the Data and Analytics team need passionate and experienced people!
The role of data architect requires:
- In-depth and hands on experience in data modelling and database design (Kimball and Data Vault methodologies);
- Creating Microsoft SQL queries and stored procedures using T-SQL on Azure SQL DWH;
- Working with Azure Technologies like Blog Storage and Table Storage;
- Analysing source systems to translate business requirements into a technical solution;
- Cutting code in Microsoft .NET framework and #C would be nice but not necessary.
Skills and Experience
Ideally the successful candidate will have:
- Have a minimum of 5 years practical experience in data modelling (Kimball and Data Vault methodologies);
- Have a minimum of 5 years practical experience in Microsoft SQL queries and stored procedures using T-SQL;
- Have a minimum of 2 years practical experience with Microsoft Azure, specifically Azure SQL DWH;
- Ideally have experience in BimlFlex™;
- Have MCSE: Data Management and Analytics or be willing to undertake this certification;
- Breadth in established and emerging data technologies: you are either experienced or conversant in emerging tools like columnar and NoSQL databases, predictive analytics, data visualization, and unstructured data. While not necessarily deep in all of these technologies, you hopefully are experienced in one or more, and must understand them sufficiently to guide the organisation in understanding and adopting them.

- Be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
