- Strong Project Manager with 10 + years experience
You will be managing a team of 10 + staff including Business Analysts and Process Leads, the project will involve separation and integrating two functionalities Maintenance and Finance moving them across to SAP. This role is really focused on dealing with the business. The Project Manager is required to write the business cases and ensure projects are being delivered on time and to budget.
The following attributes are critical, should you wish to be considered for this role:
- Must have a min of 10 + years’ experience as a Project Manager
- Competent with managing a team of 10 + staff
- Accountable for the delivery of IT projects
- Delivers quality solutions that meet the business requirements
- Ability to work with Agile Methodologies
- Ensures projects are completed within budget and on schedule
- Tracks and mitigates risks
- Manages and escalates issues appropriately
- Prepare update reports and presentations
- Ensures key stakeholders and customers are engaged and fully informed
- Manage project budgets and where necessary, prepare and manage variation requests
- Adheres to methodology, processes, documentation & reporting guidelines
- Manages tasks and resources throughout the project lifecycle
- Transition to IT Operational Support
- Some exposure to SAP, SuccessFactors, Chris21 and Coupa would also be highly regarded
- Ensures Delivery partners and outsource providers are managed in line with commercial processes
- Interstate travel may be required from time to time
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- Mid-level positions in an IT Project Management environment (min 10+ years)
- Proven and extensive experience working on small to medium projects, contributing to strategic direction and successfully setting and executing the operational delivery
- Strong project management and team management in across various technologies in the SAP space.
- Development and implementation of methodologies for business process optimisation and continuous improvement opportunities
- Proven track record of responsible financial management, demonstrating an ability to balance fiscal responsibility with a model for the delivery of agreed support services
- Demonstrated experience at developing and managing third party partner and supplier relationships
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proven record of building strong working relationships to enable successful negotiations with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Proven ability to work in a team environment, to build strong relationships with colleagues and business unit customers
