Revolution IT is seeking a Performance Test Specialist.  We look for people who are specialists in their field and will utilise their experience in advising business stakeholders on client sites and providing leadership to technical teams. You will identify and develop opportunities within new and existing clients as well as advocate for the change, improvement and implementation of performance testing in varied environments.

The successful candidate will have proven experience with a variety of licensed and open source tools and frameworks (e.g. LoadRunner, Performance Center, RPT, Silk Performer and JMeter). Ideally you will also have some experience within a collaborative Agile/Scrum environment.

Along with a desire to take on hands-on delivery where necessary. You will have a real interest in team development and training. Motivated by best practice performance testing, will see you contribute too and deliver a vision of the strategy and direction for the Performance practice

Desired Skills & Experience

• Professional and versatile approach, demonstrating a consulting mentality in order to work with a variety of teams and stakeholders in challenging project environments
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with open source and licensed tools, frameworks and scripting languages such as LoadRunner, Performance Center, RPT, Silk Performer and JMeter
• Desire to share and grow company knowledge through the transfer of skills and knowledge to team members
• Inquisitive and quality-centric nature; willing to stand up and ask questions as required
• Technical team management/ leadership experience on large, complex performance projects
• Bachelor Degree with a technology emphasis, or equivalent qualification
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Takes ownership and initiative for own work
• People and team-orientated individual
