One of the most profitable scale-ups ins Sydney is recruiting a mid-level AWS Engineer into their organisation.

This business is revolutionizing the payments industry and is taking the Sydney market by storm.
  
Here is an opportunity for you to work alongside some on the brightest minds in the industry.

Reporting directly to the Head of DevOps in the company, you will be working in a team of 3 DevOps Engineers.

This team is growing and you will be given the autonomy to take ownership of all things AWS! There will be opportunities in the future to step up and take on a Lead role.

What’s more is the fact that this business is working with some of the latest technologies in the market such as Golang and Kubernetes!
  
THE ROLE

You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement within the team and delivering automated, infrastructure as code solutions.

This role will involve you working very closely with the software development teams to drive and deliver exceptional customer solutions.
  
REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working as an AWS Engineer or Cloud Architect
• Commercial experience with Docker Containers, ECS and Kubernetes will be very highly regarded
• Individuals who come with cloud security experience will be considered as well (DDOS, IAM and PCI)
• It would be great if you stem from a software development background however candidates from a networking background will be considered too
• Strong knowledge of build tools
• Understanding of VPC advanced networking (Direct connect, VPNs, NACLs)
