We’re looking to hire a full-stack developer to build web applications for a specialised team within the business.

This dedicated team of seven processes large amounts of data and turns it into business critical information. To suit our needs you will have great skills in front-end web development, such that you can build a modern web based solution to host the team's business intelligence portals as well as make data entry and maintenance simple and streamlined.   You will also have proven experience in designing and implementing impressive and easy to use web UIs, as well as a strong ability to interface with databases and domain authentication systems.  Experience working with SharePoint will be highly valued.

We aim to employ highly competent software developers with a wide variety of skills, so experience in parsing, networking and desktop application development would add to your attractiveness for this role.   

Essential skills, knowledge and experience required:

• Demonstrated experience building, deploying and administering web applications with a modern UI framework such as Angular, React etc.
• Proficient in C#, .Net or Python for back-end web application development.
• Computing degree (Bachelor level or above) or equivalent experience.
• Perseverance to solve difficult problems.
• Software engineering processes and practices (i.e. familiarity with bug tracking systems as well as regression and other testing methodologies).
• Familiarity with modern software tools and processes such as revision control, integrated development environments and agile software development methods
• Ability to quickly re-focus if switching between tasks.
• Proven communication skills.
• Experience of working to deadlines to ensure the availability of critical systems.
