One of our premium government client based in Canberra is looking for highly experienced and committed Data Analyst.

Essential Skills:

• Strong conceptual and analytical skills.
• Data scientist capabilities - that is, the ability to deliver advice and outputs operating at the interface between data analysis, data mining and efficient computational processes.
• Data analysis and visualization using Excel, SAS and/or R to support decision making.
• Keen problem-solving ability, including the design of fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to translate complex statistical ideas into digestible information for non-technical audiences.
• The ability to work in a demanding operational environment and deliver high quality and timely data and analysis targeted to the needs of a broad range of stakeholders.
• Database development, design and management.
• Understanding of the Australian labour market and associated data sources, particularly jobs, education and/or training data is an advantage.
