Immediate need for a Pronto Systems Analyst with well known Mining company.
Your new company
Your new company is a well-known mining company based north of the river. They are currently searching for an experienced Pronto Systems Administrator to join their team as their Pronto specialist!
Your new role
Reporting to the Systems Manager, the Pronto System Analyst supports the implementation and maintenance of business systems to meet operational requirements.
Key responsibilities
- User facing and focused plus liaising with Scope Systems.
- First point of contact for Pronto users
- Perform system testing and manage User Acceptance Testing
- Documenting procedures
- Small implementation projects
- Cognos Reporting skills a huge benefit
- Reporting to Systems Manager as part of the Commercial team reporting to CCO/CFO
- Helpdesk. First point of contact for all staff having issues with Pronto. Investigate and Resolve.
- Raise and liaise with Scope Systems Service Desk all system errors and data corruptions. Manage through to resolution.
- Control point of Pronto system Reference codes. Perform appropriate change control before and after updates to codes.
- Create all new Pronto users after correct approvals of request. Update user’s access on receipt of appropriate approval. Ensure Separation of Duties internal controls maintained. Escalate if not.
- Provide Investigative support to business of any transaction in Pronto.
- Monitor and maintain logs of activity within Pronto system. Investigate, correct and highlight when transactions appear stuck in Pronto.
- Maintain System and Data integrity
- Support users in data exports from and uploads to Pronto
- New User Training in Pronto basics including Reqns, PO receipts
What you’ll need to succeed Experience
- Experience in the above key responsibilities
- Minimum 2 years Pronto System Administrator. Preferably 5 years
- Mining Company experience
- Excellent MS Windows 7 & 10 plus MS Office 2013/2016 especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Preferably Commerce/Business degree with IT Systems major or equivalent long Business experience.
