The opportunity
You’ll be part of our Digital team that is responsible for driving buzz around our Online channels. We’re experts in our field and love using insight, data and creativity to solve business problems in fun and interesting ways.

The role
Working within one of several collaborative, passionate crews, this role will give you the opportunity to work on important initiatives delivering value and impact for our customers and for the MYOB business.

Being successful in this role will require you to help drive teams to think about risks, identify defects as well as challenge and voice opinions, that will make a huge difference to the continuous development of various products and systems. Establishing relationships and empowering teams will make quality assurance the centre of how we deliver software and deepens the goal for technical excellence.

Reporting to the Development Lead, your primary responsibilities will be to ensure that we are driving toward best practices of testing and that our delivery teams are continually reducing defects and producing higher quality solutions.

What you will need to bring:

• Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Protractor, etc
• Exposure to languages like JavaScript, Node.js and Java
• Experience in testing APIs and back-end services
• Basic knowledge of AWS infrastructure or willingness to learn
• Demonstrated ability to be consultative and empower individuals on best practices
• Hands on experience with relational and document databases
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Ability to educate and empower others in analysis skills
• Excellent communication skills, written expression and comprehension
