About the role
- The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the ongoing development and operation of Council’s Business Intelligence architecture to enable fact-based decision making and ad hoc analysis.
- The Salary Range for this position is Level 5 - $75,536.36 - $78,747.08 gross per annum plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.4% superannuation.
- This is a temporary full-time position until September 2020.
How to be successful in this position - Success Criteria
You will need:
- The mandatory qualifications and experience as listed under the 'Success Criteria' of the Position Description.
- Demonstrated experience in Structured Query Language (SQL), data extraction, transformation and load (ETL), and data warehouse management with a strong knowledge in developing reports based on user requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning, service request management, and other applications that are in common use among local governments.
- Excellent oral and written communication and numeracy skills, and a high level of interpersonal skills in order to provide expert advice to fellow employees, communicate and negotiate agreed actions and outcomes with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide accurate timely advice in a helpful and supportive manner.
- Understanding and commitment to Council's Organisational Value and Behaviour of Integrity.
