A unique opportunity for a Business Analyst to join a busy project in Perth CBD on an initial 6 months fixed-term contract with option to extend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with a project team and other key project stakeholders to deliver Agile business analysis
• Undertake methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation of all or part of a business in terms of business functions and processes, the information used and the data on which the information is based
• Work with other Business Analysts and team members to develop and maintain the process library, process modelling standards and business analysis methodology In the Project Delivery Framework and to develop and build agile capabilities
• Take responsibility for investigative work to determine business requirements and specify effective business processes, through improvements in information systems, information management, practices, procedures and organisation change
• Apply the use of modelling and analysis tools, methods and standards, giving special consideration to business perspectives
• Develop Business Analysis artefacts that capture business needs and trace-ability to change;
• Undertake the functions to devise business analysis artefacts that align to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) and other industry standards

Key Skills: 

• Proven experience with Agile practices, such as Scrum and Kanban
• Strong analytical and lateral thinking skills 
• Strong documentation skills 
• Strong process modelling skills 
• Understands business needs and the consequences of outcomes 
• Proven ability to communicate to all levels both verbally and in writing 
• Proven experience in initiating activities that contribute to meeting project objectives 
• Problem identification and resolution skills 
• Experienced in producing business analysis deliverables 
• Ability to work collaboratively across the business and technical resources
• Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills 
• Highly developed business analysis and facilitation skills 

Desirable but NOT essential:

• Experience in the use of tools such as Jira, Jira Portfolio and Sparx EA
