About the role
Great opportunity to join an enthusiastic team working on critical web application and full-stack and database development. Your responsibilities will include implementing the next generation of Active Billing's products, integrating with third-party services and maintaining and evolving existing products and infrastructure.
Much of your work will be undertaken remotely, but face to face meetings will be required periodically and to meet project requirements. As such, this role would best suit someone located in the greater Sydney region. Familiarity with working remotely will be considered favourably.

Duties/responsibilities
- We deliver our services over the web and your experience in this area will be called upon. As will your ability to monitor and enhance our cloud hosted infrastructure
- Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and build technical specifications
- A desire for process automation including CI / CD
- Ensure all solutions are tested, scalable, security compliant, optimised, well documented and that relevant coding standards and best practices are maintained
Skills/experience
- Solid knowledge of Ruby and Rails
- A working knowledge of complementary languages an advantage
- Solid Experience with SQL (Microsoft, Postgresql)
- Web Development: HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery
- An understanding of Devops
- Linux, bash, git, openssh, encryption technologies, redis, AWS
