If you are an experienced, motivated and diligent Test Automation Engineer looking for a new challenge and want to join a global company working on the next generation of our software, then we want to hear from you.

Based in our Geelong office, this is a unique opportunity to join our team to help develop world class, functionally rich and market leading software, which underpins student success. Our renovated office provides easy access to the North Geelong Vline station and with ample free onsite parking, it is an easy commute from the Western suburbs or Geelong area.

 

What does this role involve?

·         You will be responsible for the continuous improvement of the quality of our cloud-based student management information software through automated and manual test techniques.

·         Your tasks will be varied and include following test strategies, using recognised test methodologies, detecting and tracking defects and providing feedback on the suitability of software for release.

·         You will also be involved in maintaining real-time meta data, providing work estimates and providing third line support to ensure the resolution of queries.

·         By creating, designing and maintaining automated and manual test scripts and providing input into the design of user acceptance criteria, you will contribute to the team’s overall goal of ensuring that our customers’ expectations are surpassed.

 

What can you bring to this role?

·         A passion for testing software and striving to deliver a quality product.

·         Exceptional communication, analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.

·         Experience of creating and executing test processes and documenting test results in a commercial software testing environment.

·         The highest levels of accuracy, as well as the ability to understand software specifications.

·         Demonstrable knowledge and experience of at least one automated testing toolset, the ability to read and write SQL scripts and an understanding of XML.

·         Demonstrable knowledge and experience of at least one front end automated testing toolset such as Selenium or CodedUI.

·         An understanding of Agile methodologies as well as mobile, security and performance testing.
