One of the leading insurance provider in Melbourne CBD is looking for a strong Splunk developer to provide end to end support for Splunk logging solutions technologies and related application environments
 
You are required to manage, develop and extend an existing large enterprise Splunk implementation. You will work across a wide range of stakeholders and provide the best solutions

• Splunk development
• Middleware technologies
• Automation skills
• Stakeholder Management
• Strong  analytical and problem solving skills 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Experience and Qualifications 

• Strong 5 years of experience working in a large-scale clustered Splunk implementations
• Experience with customer requirements gathering around Monitoring and Logging.            
• Experience in Security, Operations or Development looked upon favourably          
• Relevant tertiary certifications in Splunk training
• Splunk ES SIEM and ITSI  implementations in a clustered environment
• Experience with Unix platforms, particularly AIX and Linux.
• Working knowledge in WebSphere Application Server (WAS), MQ, IIB, Tomcat.
• Python scripting
• Understanding of change management processes and ITIL
• Experience with Enterprise Monitoring Tools
