Position Description:
We are seeking an agile, technically aware, design oriented and client focused business analysts to join our highly successful consulting team. This is a permanent position that would be ideal for a mid-level BA looking to move into a fast paced startup environment and working across a variety of projects in different industries.

Accountabilities:

• Eliciting requirements and developing functional specification, user stories, epics etc.
• Facilitation of workshops, conducting process and process improvement analysis, delivering presentations.
• Designing & developing high quality business solutions and projects.
• Provide evaluation of customers business needs comprising different product options.
• Liaising with clients on basic consulting and conducting of preliminary investigation and transaction analysis of project reviews.
• Being accountable for defined work assignments/projects.
• Evaluating customer’s business needs with input into strategic planning of business processes and directions.

 
Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst working across complex financial environments e.g. markets, fund management, unit pricing, etc.
• Experience across online/web-based/mobile applications development or customisation
• Excellent communication, analytical and facilitation skills
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Ability to adapt and apply existing techniques and methodologies to new uses
• Experience in defining scope and requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent conceptual ability, skills in analysis and problem solving.
• Experience across financial services, government and/or education sectors.
• Project experience in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge/experience in DevOps will be well regarded.
