Technology Services Group (TSG) provides IT Solutions for the Federal Group's portfolio of Tourism, Hospitality, Gaming & transport businesses located throughout Australia. With a mission of "creating valued outcomes" we are focused on delivering excellent customer service and providing high quality systems.

We are currently seeking applications from highly motivated and technically minded individuals to join the TSG team as a Service Support Officer based at our Sandy Bay campus. As a member of the Service Desk team you will be working with a team of service desk and technology professionals. The fundamental responsibility of this role is to deliver outstanding ICT support and customer service to Federal Group staff with a focus on quick restoration of systems and services.

This role offers the perfect opportunity to work in a large corporate environment which is customer service, teamwork and process driven, supporting;

  • Microsoft suite of products (Windows 7/10, Office 2010/16 and Office 365)
  • Telephony (e.g IP Phones, Mobile phones)

and a wide variety of Corporate Applications.

To succeed in this role you will have;

  • High level interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Holder of, or working towards, an IT Service Management related certification, tertiary qualification or Certificate III or IV in IT
  • Excellent technical skills with proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar job logging system
  • Some experience in a similar role
  • An ability to work rostered hours including regular weekend shifts
  • A current driver’s licence and the ability to obtain a Tasmanian Gaming Licence (Technician A).
