For over 30 years Data Action (DA) has been providing flexible, core banking software, cloud-based hosting, software development and associated IT consulting services to both established and challenger brands in the Australian financial services/banking industry. With a strong focus on innovation and partnerships, DA is leading the market in delivering digital and mobile banking, loan origination, and fraud and risk management solutions to our clients.
Due to our expanding business, we are seeking a talented Cyber Security professional to deliver subject matter expertise to protect our client's cyber assets, data, intellectual property and operations.
The Role
The role will include activities ranging from Cyber Security Strategy and Governance, Cyber Security Project Development and Implementation, Incident Management and Risk Management.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Delivery on the elements of DA's business strategy that pertains to Cyber Security Risk & Management.
- Proactively researching and understanding cyber security threats, potential impacts and how to adequately protect, defend and respond to these accordingly.
- Overseeing the continuous monitoring and protection of information and information systems.
- Translating security improvements into tangible outcomes for our clients.
- Leading and developing a team of Security Analysts
You
You are highly motivated, possess a strong commercial acumen and well-developed communications skills. You will have a solid record of accomplishment in Cyber Security and will ideally hold relevant tertiary qualifications in an IT or business related discipline.
Experience highly regarded:
- 5 to 7 years' experience in Cyber Security
- Experience in Architecture - high/low level design
- Proven experience in implementing security for AWS & Cloud Data projects
- Proven track record of delivering successful security projects
- Scoping out work and understanding technical specifications to create project deliverables
- Detailed level designs
- Implementation & Test plans
- Stakeholder Management - liaison with senior stakeholders
