Data Action is an Adelaide based technology services organisation providing both software solutions and hosted services to clients across Australia. We like to think we are a great place to work, with monthly company events, a shiny modern office environment and a friendly, collaborative atmosphere.

Due to our rapidly expanding team, we are looking for a new Application Support Analyst to assist with a wide variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Supporting our customers in their use of our wide range of products and customised solutions
  • Ensure essential customer applications are available and functioning as required
  • Utilise our BA skills, support experience and technical know-how to participate in various stages of the SDLC
  • Taking ownership of departmental mini-projects

We're looking for people who will use their superior analytical abilities and customer service skills to provide a range of level 2 and 3 application support services - including responding to and troubleshooting customer issues, software upgrades, new installations and project work - across the Data Action application suite.

To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Application support experience in complex enterprise environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A passion for problem solving and strong analytical availability
  • Experience working with SQL and stored procedures

A definite advantage would be:

  • Demonstrated experience within the banking / financial sector
  • Experience in analysing customer business requirements and recommending solutions
  • Familiarity with the SDLC (Note this is not a development role and only candidates with demonstrated application support experience will be considered)
  • Knowledge of web technologies, such as MS IIS, HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Degree or tertiary qualification in Computer Science or related field
