Due to the recent award of new projects we are seeking experienced Riggers to join our team. We are seeking high performance-driven team players to join our company.

Job Description:

As a telecommunications rigger you will be able to install and upgrade externally mounted telecommunications equipment in accordance with the client specifications, standards and HSE guidelines.  This includes, but is not limited to;

• Antenna system installations
• Hybrid and Copper feeder system
• Hardware installation (RRUs, TMAs, Combiners, etc)
• Structural installations (steelwork, trays, etc)

Requirements:

• Proactive and positive attitude to HSE and Quality Assurance
• Ability and fitness to climb structures and work safely and competently at heights of up to 100m
• Experience working out of elevated work platforms
• Experience in working for major network carriers (Optus, VHA, Telstra, NBN Wireless, etc.) coupled with a strong knowledge of network carriers' processes and standards.
• Working at heights in the installation and removal of MW dishes, antennas & feeder cables and other hardware on various structures (monopoles, rooftops, towers, etc.)
• Experience in installing, commissioning and integrating of telecommunications equipment, including feeder and hybrid cables
• A high level of attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible and reliable
• Extensive traveling will be required

Qualifications:

• Current Driver's Licence (HR desirable);
• Current Safe Work at Heights / Tower Rescue Certificates;
• Rigging High Risk Licence (Intermediate or Advanced desirable);
• Boom Elevated Work Platform High Risk Licence;
• Current First Aid and CPR;
• NBN, Telstra, Optus and Vodafone Inductions (desirable);
• Effective team player and ability to follow instructions from supervisor
• Valid Construction Induction card; and
• Intermediate computer skills.       

You will be working with a fast-paced and friendly team, in locations that may be in all parts of Australia, based from our North Brisbane office.

These are full-time positions, working hours and a competitive remuneration package will be negotiated.
