This boutique, friendly Australian owned and operated software company based in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs is expanding due to increased sales and interest in their product. Their product is a fully web based, cross-platform CRM and Practice Management Application with a sophisticated and complex diary and appointment management UI amongst other market leading features built using Flash, PHP and Postgres and they are actively looking to migrate to a new framework and are looking for an experienced developer to join their team.
Based in Melbourne's leafy Eastern suburbs in a relaxed office with off-street parking, your role will include:
- Working with the development team including the MD and other Director to provide advice on a new sustainable web development framework
- Analyse requirements, define and design new modules and functions
- Convert and migrate the existing UI to the new chosen framework/s
- Provide software development, enhancement and bug fixing support services using the existing and future frameworks including but not limited to HTML, Javascript, JQuery, CSS, PHP and SQL
- Provide unit and system testing as required
- Other software engineering related tasks as required
This is an important role and will have direct input into the future technical direction of the application so to qualify you will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience developing complex n-tier commercial web applications including Front end/UI using a variety of technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP and SQL;
- Knowledge and understanding of the various web frameworks available in the market such as Angular, Vue, React and others;
- Adaptability and pragmatism including the ability to discuss different potential software design and solutions options;
- Ability to work professionally, efficiently and collaboratively in a small team;
- Ability and willingness to pass on technical and professional knowledge and capability to others, and;
- Experience developing web based CRM applications or similar and/or experience with a Flash migration project would be highly regarded.
