We are currently looking for a Netscaler Engineer to join us on an initial 6 month contract with further extensions expected.
The function of the Netscaler Engineer is to design, implement, support and maintain all aspects related to Citrix NetScalers at an enterprise level along with other networking equipment on the network. The Netscaler Engineer is responsible for hands-on operations and engineering activities to ensure the successful implementation of Citrix Netscaler projects, and working with application teams to create solutions spanning multiple data centres.
The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of best current security practices, firewalls, network administration, application/web fundamentals, load balancing principles, IP transit, routing protocols and all aspects of networking needed to support the mandated SLAs.
To successfully deliver this project we are looking for someone with the following:
- A good understanding of the operational aspects of Load Balancing devices
- Previous Netscaler installation/integration/configuration/administration experience
- Solid networking background in enterprise environments
- Extensive experience and understanding of switching, network routing, and firewall concepts
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to talk to people of all levels
