About the Company
A market leading consumer facing business with operations across Australia is looking for an experienced Platform Services Manager to join their team in Sydney.
About the Role
You will take ownership of the Production Support team, leading a medium sized team and driving the maturity of the environment. The platforms you will be supporting are across 3 distinct business units and the platforms themselves are predominately out of the box solutions so vendor engagement is key.
Your team will be the point of contact for 3rd level support and act as analysts for trouble shooting and vendor engagement for problem resolution.
This role requires regular stakeholder engagement, the leadership of a team and the ability to engage with C level for reporting purposes.
Skills & Experience
- You will need to have come from a Production Support background in an enterprise environment;
- Whilst this is a leadership role you will need to be technically savvy and roll up your sleeves when needed;
- Experience leading teams is essential;
- A track record in maturing production support teams from a capability and tools perspective;
- Experience in a “buy not build” environment with a strong vendor engagement focus; and
- Stakeholder engagement up to C level.
