Randstad are currently working with a well-known government organisation to find a junior IT Business Analyst to join their team for an initial 4 months with a likely extension.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is early on in their career and looking for an opportunity to expand on their BA skills.

The Role:

Assist with identifying, analysing and documenting current state and future state business process and requirements within a large ICT environment, to contribute the delivery of valued, integrated and effective business solutions to program.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the collation and analysis of “As Is” and “To Be” business process models using approved methods and tools.
• Creating document workflows.
• Liaise with other teams to see if business/software requirements are incorporated and fit for purpose and document findings.
• Assist with stakeholder engagement, assessment and the development of a stakeholder matrix, and ongoing stakeholder management.
• Interpret business and user requirements and research possible application of the information systems solution to optimise local and enterprise-wide business outputs.

Desirable Skillset:

No formal qualification are required for this position however experience in the following would be highly desirable but not essential:

• Service to Server. Microsoft SQL Service
• BI development skills in QlikView/QlikSense (preferable)
• Data Modelling and analytics
