Leading Newcastle organisation seeking a talented Information Security Specialist - Permanent opportunity
Your new company
Our client is a well-established organisation based in Newcastle, with a strong reputation for delivery of high customer service. They are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead a dedicated IT infrastructure project team and drive the delivery of critical business outcomes across their enterprise environment.
Your new role
Within this newly created role you will take the lead in the development and maintenance of security standards within the company, managing ongoing technical security assessments and possible vulnerabilities, as well as assisting management on reviews of user and privileged access.
What you'll need to succeed
- You will demonstrate an understanding of information security principals, policies and standards.
- At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role and 3 years in a Windows focused infrastructure administration role.
- Relevant Information Security Industry certifications will include CISSP, CISA, CISM or equivalent education.
- Experience working within, or consulting to the financial service industry in security capacity will be highly regarded.
