We have a L/T Contract available for a Docker DevOps Engineer. In this role, you work as the DevOps SME within a leading edge delivery team.

You will be responsible for delivering the end to end DevOps engineering capability for the team including all the support activities if there are any issues.

PLEASE NOTE: This role will require a DevOps Engineer highly skilled across python programming, Linux Shell scripting, Docker Swarm & Gitlab (CI/CD pipelines).
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the linux based infrastructure used by the data analytics platform.
• Deliver the CI/CD pipeline for the data analytics platform.
• Maintain and build docker based infrastructure.
• Automate the testing driven development for the data analytics team.
• Support any environment issues
• Perform the any CI/CD pipleline support.
• Manage the source code repository 

Required Skills:

• Proven experience of delivering DevOps build and deployment automation in an agile environment.
• Proven experience building scalable docker and docker swarm based infrastructure.
• Experience with Gitlab CI/CD pipeline delivery.
• Strong shell scripting capability.
• Experienced in managing Linux based infrastructure.
• Gitlab, Gitflow and Bitbucket experience.

Desirable Skills:

• Python programming skills.
• Understanding the data analytics project delivery.
• Experience with docker EE and kubernetes orchestration framework.
