About the Role
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Solution Analyst (some partners call the role Functional Consultant) to join their Sydney team. You’d be part of a growing global professional services practice in the process of expanding their Australian footprint. You will have the opportunity to work in a diversely skilled team.
All their Solution Analysts are customer facing and work as part of a team. Central to how they work is that no-one flies solo. The responsibilities include being a member of a delivery team and working within their Agile framework. As a Solution Analyst, you should have a background in Salesforce.com system administration including hands-on Salesforce.com configuration as well as business analysis.

Key responsibilities will include:
  
  • Act as Scrum Master (once trained) on smaller work streams aligned to a larger project
  • May assist with SoW content by working closely with our client Engagement Lead, Product Owner and Stakeholders to understand and document their requirements to develop the project scope and objectives
  • Take part in UX/UI Design process when appropriate
  • Give input into technical assessments and design of work to go into the backlog
  • Contribute to development of project scopes, objectives and timeline
  • Highlight changes in project scope and schedule
  • Write user stories within context of project
  • Ensure customer input and feedback is added to and managed in a backlog
  • Perform Quality Assurance on story quality within context of Definition of Ready (DoR)
  • Take part in the creation, planning and delivery of sprint goals
  • Take part in daily stand ups
  • Deliver stories and tasks within a sprint including but not limited to Salesforce.com configuration tasks and data loads
  • Help to unblock technical team and remove any impediments
  • Seek and give peer review
  • Perform QA on stories prior to moving them to UAT
  • Deliver end user training when appropriate
  • In consultation with a delivery lead, advise clients on best Salesforce approach and options to meet their needs
  • Create and maintain documentation that supports the project and team
  
To be successful for this role you must have the following, at a minimum:
  
  • 5+ years across a variety of companies and projects
  • 2+ years working on Salesforce projects and implementations, either in house or with a partner
  • Tertiary qualification (desirable)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Scrum Master and/or project management qualifications (desirable)
  • At a minimum the following Salesforce Certifications:
    • ○ Salesforce Admin 201
    • ○ Sales or Service Cloud Consultant (desirable)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player
