About you!
Looking to take the next step in your career? We are looking for an experienced level 3 support verging on architect. More than anything we are looking for the right person to join, someone eager to get involved and make decisions technically - good team player, communicative and adaptable.
- Experienced Solutions Engineer with Pre-sales, Design, Deployment and Validation Skills
- High-level solution architecture skills – able to think from a “birds-eye” view to ensure all angles are covered and the correct outcome can be achieved for our clients
- Excellent documentation – Attention to detail is required here. Firstly to correctly capture all project requirements, to ensure the project can be deployed by other team members if required and lastly - to ensure we are offering clarification on inclusions and exclusions of each project
- Hypervisor VMware Skills (ESXi, VSAN and SRM)
- Hyper-V Skills preferable
- Microsoft Skills – In specific around MS Exchange configurations & Upgrades
- Backup/DR - Veeam Skills – We are a Veeam Gold Partner and so regularly carry out medium-large design, deploy and validations on Veeam projects.
- Cloud Skills : O365, Azure, IBM SoftLayer and preferably AWS skills – all would be ideal, but some is better than none
Certification:
- VCP 6.5 - or able to complete, with our support within the first couple months
- MCP (Preferred)
- VMCE (Preferable)
- Some Azure or AWS certification (Preferable)
Further Vendor training for any suitable candidates may be offered as part of the role.
Other requirements for right persons –
- Able to make informed decisions quickly
- Relay technical information clearly to non-technical team members such as Sales Support, Projects & Accounts teams
- Work in a small unit for large clients
- Multi-task and manage various project simultaneously
- Apply strategic thinking when architecting solutions for clients
